The poems in Still Time explore themes of childhood nostalgia, loss and grief, pandemic life, and finding those moments of peace and tranquility that buoy us above it all. The poems are deeply personal, inspired by the poet’s own lived experiences, particularly the birth of her son and the loss of her father. Many of the poems were written during the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020 and reflect the uncertainty and self-reflection that marked that time period.
