JUNE 15TH | 5 – 7 PM
While bitters have long occupied a dubious corner of medicine, the golden age of the cocktail in the latter part of the 1800s solidified them as a must-have in bar culture forever. These days you can pick up a bottle of mainstream bitters at any grocery store, but come to our special evening class and allow us to inspire you to make your own bitters that you can take home and make your own creative craft cocktails. Amanda Shoemaker, purveyor of handcrafted sensorial herbal goods, enthusiast of plants that entice the senses, and Galloway’s bartender, will walk you through the bitters-making journey. We will feature aromatics, florals, citrus, and herbal!
